Our Purpose & Vision
Men's Ministry is the active pursuit of men in order to connect them to God, His Word, and other men for the purpose of winning, growing, and training God's man in Christ.
We know one thing for sure - God will use the heart and life of anyone who chooses to make himself available to Him. The Bible says, "Go and make disciples of all nations." This is the great commission spoken by Jesus Himself. In other words, Jesus Christ is commissioning His followers to go into the entire world and reproduce believers. This is a big calling.
This raises several questions. How do we reproduce believers? Can a men's ministry enable a man to better understand his calling in life and how to achieve it? Can a men's ministry challenge a man to grow deeper in intellect, emotion, and spirit? Can a men's ministry teach men how to stay sexually pure? The answer to these questions is a resounding yes!

Retreat Speaker Raymond Woodson
BISHOP & INSTRUCTOR
Rev. Raymond Woodward returned to his hometown of Fredericton to become the Lead Pastor of Capital Community Church on Pentecost Sunday in June 2001. Prior to that, he served as an Assistant Pastor for nearly 20 years. He and Beverley were married in 1983 and have two adult children, Emily (married to Ryan) and Matthew (married to Katricia).
Raymond has served as an instructor for theology, music, computer and business subjects at Northeast Christian College, CompuCollege School of Business and the New Brunswick Community College, and also completed his certificate in Adult Education at the University of New Brunswick.
Over 40 years of pastoral ministry have seen Raymond travel extensively in the United States, Canada and overseas to share the Word of God. He currently serves the United Pentecostal Church International as Executive Presbyter for Canada, and serves Northeast Christian College as Chancellor. Since June 2021, when Rev. Jack Leaman was installed as Lead Pastor of CCC, Raymond has continued to serve the congregation in the roles of Bishop and Teaching Pastor. He remains passionate about missions, mentoring, teaching, and team ministry.
Many of Raymond’s ministry resources are available on his personal website at RaymondWoodward.com, and CCC also hosts a sermon video archive at CapitalCommunity.tv.
The Woodwards live on the banks of the beautiful Nashwaak River in Marysville, an historic 19th century mill town adjacent to Fredericton. They are blessed to have their children integrally involved at Capital Community Church, and they are thrilled to be “Grandbuddy” and “Gramma B” to Clara, Rosalie, Annalie, Elaina, and Jude.
